All our molds are made of PLA. PLA stands for Polyactic Acid and is a thermoplastic polymers in that it is derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugar cane.

To use this mold place mix in the bottom you can chose to pack slightly and then loosely sprinkle mix in craving a hole in the center for the lid piece to go in and compact the 2 pieces together. If you do not have enough mix it will fall apart. Tap lightly on mold remove the plate piece then carefully flip upside down on a firm surface place on tray where it will stay until dry. And remove bottom bowl piece. If you attempt to move it may fall apart. Then repeat for the top of the sphere. For the stopper place mix in and pack so it holds the shape and fill placing the top plate on the compress the mixture and replace top plate and flip mold upside down on a firm surface tap to unmold. It will be a different sound(hollow) then you may lift.

Sometimes there might be slight discoloration, or a slight printing defect. This will not affect the performance of the molds.

Cleaning your mold is as easy as rinsing under cool water, and towel dry. Never leave or soak your molds as they can retain water. Do not place your molds in the dishwasher. PLA is sensitive to heat, so please do not use warm or hot water.
